Accessible Holidays
Five of our cottages and lodges are single storey, some have level access and others just a few steps so are suitable for people with limited mobility. Our largest, Pinetree lodge has a wetroom too.
We have done our best to put as much detail as possible on each holiday cottage and lodge page but do please contact us if you have any specific questions about accessibility.
Accessible Holiday Cottages
Pinetree Lodge is a single storey lodge sleeping 8 with level access from the gravelled parking area. The doorways are wide enough for a standard wheelchair or mobility scooter although each doorway has a small threshold of 20mm. The shower wet room has an open shower with rail & curtain, WC and hand basin and is fitted with grab handles and equipped with a bathing stool and a freestanding adjustable WC frame surround. From the living room there are French windows to the decked area overlooking the sea with another low threshold.
Whilst Pinetree does not have an NAS accreditation, people with limited mobility and wheelchair users have stayed in the lodge on several occasions and found it to be more than suitable for their needs.
Birchtree Lodge is on one level with two steps up to the decked area and entrance via patio doors.
Firtree Lodge, which sleeps up to 4 people, has 5 steps up to the decked area and front door but once inside is on one level and has an en suite shower room.
Fuchsia & Hydrangea Cottages are semi-detached, single storey cottages with 2 or 3 easy steps to the front door and patio outside the front window.
Most of the driveways and access routes around the farm complex are concrete or hard surfaced.
